We all have a favorite color (or, two)…red or blue or violet maybe. Why…Is our choice significant? Does a particular color mean something special to us? Yes & Yes!
If your favorite color is orange you’re probably a social person with a lively personality as the color represents energy, warmth, and enthusiasm. Maybe your favorite is blue…then you might be drawn to peacefulness and tranquility. Most everyone has a favorite color.
In fashion, there are “color trends”. Generally, the industry selects new colors and you’ll see them in magazines, brands and logos. Pantone – best known for its Pantone Matching System (PMS) – selected “Living Coral” as the color of the year for 2019. And now, you’re probably seeing many “trends” to that color.
Colors are important to us – in many areas of our life. What we wear, cars we buy and it certainly plays a big role in selecting window coverings…especially now that we build homes with LOTS of windows – and they’re BIG!
So, when we’re helping folks decide on a style AND COLOR, we try to “draw out” what color(s) they feel most comfortable with and balance that showing popular colors. This helps them choose colors they’ll love for many years.
