There’s a slight change in the temps outside signaling were heading into our fall season – a great time of the year for us. Hopefully all our friends and families had a wonderful summer, great vacations and – now – back in school! And NOW it’s time to start thinking about putting away the summer toys and dig out the decorations for the fall and winter holidays.
While spring cleaning is a distant memory our blinds and curtains could probably use some cleaning and attention to care – as we head into this holiday season. Generally, all you need is a vacuum and attachments (depending on your window treatments and/or blinds). And if you need to be more aggressive with any dirt that may have attached itself, use a damp cloth with mid PH (like dish detergent) and spot clean. This usually does the job. But if they just don’t “come back” – or – if you’re ready for a “make-ever”, it’s never been a better time to replace your old window treatments or blinds/shades with new and improved (light control/remote operation/etc) blinds, shades or shutters.
